Camiel Fortgens

Camiel Fortgens is a gender-neutral Amsterdam-based designer exploring materials, shapes, and elements from various eras and cultures. He reinterprets traditional designs and offers a diverse, easy to wear collection by crafting with all kinds of people in mind. He often blends clean-cut lines with frayed edges blurring the boundaries between tradition and innovation.

Jake and Jones is a considered mix of modern womenswear, menswear, children's clothing, and objects from designers around the world. Our selection brings together established names and emerging labels, with an emphasis on pieces that feel expressive and beautifully designed.

Based in Santa Barbara, our stores are designed to feel welcoming. With Womenswear, Menswear & Object, and our corner store, The Eddy, all located on the same city block, Jake and Jones is more than just a shop. From events and trunk shows to block parties, we love bringing people together. You’ll find designers like Pleats Please, Simone Rocha, LEMAIRE, Lady White Co., Auralee, Sandy Liang, B Sides, and many more in the mix.
