Family Time

Summer has seeped into me and slowed me down—and I like it. Camps start late so we can stay up late and wake up later. The kids are home more and the weather is hot. Less clothes, more cuddles and our garden is booming. We pick strawberries, blackberries, mulberries and peaches. The mood is playful and I feel like a little kid again. I think back to my childhood and the thunderstorms that would cool our humid days down. I am again finding myself dressed in Carolina K—reminded of her commitment to creating sustainable fashion, organic ingredients and I feel proud to wear her. While I’ve slowed and my family has been able to come together, the store is buzzing with new employees and opportunities and I take it all in. This is Summer and we are in it. Let’s be in it together.
