Ever Curious: SBLS Launch Party

Let me first take a moment and thank all the people who are showing up to this series of amazing speakers.  Our first two talks have been great, met with such enthusiasm and connection and I am in awe of what we together are creating. Here we go onto our third series with Ottocina Ryan, Editor In Chief & Publisher of Santa Barbara Life and Style Magazine.

I met Otto through her ever funny and oh so great dad, John Ryan, years before she courageously took over Santa Barbara Life and Style and turned it into the sleek, modern and refreshing magazine we know it as today.  She was barely 20 and I was a yoga teacher. Years later our paths are intertwined as she and I have become business women, mutual admirers and friends. She is one of the youngest success stories I have personally come across. At just 28 she runs a modern and elegant magazine, turning her passions into print and bringing our Santa Barbara community along for the ride she is taking. Join me as she and I talk business, life, writing and Santa Barbara. This talk will be followed by the launch party of their July/August issue as we celebrate the work she and her team has once again accomplished.

This talk will be followed by the launch party of the SBLS July/August issue with a grazing table by Slate Catering, T.W. Hollister & Co. Vermouth and beautiful flowers from Flower Folk.  It’s gonna be a fun one!

Ever Curious,
Jen
