Best of Santa Barbara

I am so tickled pink to announce that we have been nominated into the Independent’s Best of Santa Barbara. Recognition feels great, but what feels even greater is when I stop to think about all the people who make this store possible and how when I started this store I was craving community and how we, together are creating just that. From the incredible Jake and Jones staff, to all the people who work on the store, the designers we carry, and most of all the people who shop here—you are the ones who bring the store to life, who push me to work harder and to create more.  For me, it is a treat to get to interact with customers, with people who have become friends of the store, visitors and all the characters who come through our doors. It is really the core locals who we have grown to love and who we think about when we create something new or buy something for the store.  We love hearing your stories, how you live, what you do, how you parent, your goals and interests...etc. It is a team effort and we couldn’t do it without you.
